Manufacturing Intelligence

Manufacturing Intelligence is a long standing buzzword that hardly seldom means what it says.
Intelligence is not a casual concept of showing dashboards and triggering predefined actions in given logical conditions.
Though we generally agree that a machine cannot be intelligent as we, human being can pretend, a manufacturing facility composed of its many physical and biological parts is an actual living organism with all its features including its intangible psychological and intellectual characteristics.

We will explore the nature of an industrial system in order to elaborate imaginative, breakthrough approaches to possibly increase its "intelligence" - its ability to achieve its goals in line or despite its environment.
